To drink a cup of coffee or tea is not just a daily ritual, but very often it’s an excuse to give a break or to see friends in many Mediterranean countries. But you never think about the story of the difficult and detailed process of the handmade cups, saucers and other accessories. This factory in Istanbul, built in 1891, made me appreciate coffee and tea not only as a ritual, but also as a tradition.
